@jeff-brislane – is the connection issue better with the latest release on Google Play?

Please try downloading the latest version of the app from the App Store. There was an update that includes this fix.

    Try these things:

    1. Erase any bonding information in both your meter and phone.

    a. Meter – press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. At the end of this time the meter will flash magenta indicating bonding info is erased.

    b. Phone – From settings, find Bluetooth and then display Bluetooth devices. You may see “Illuminati Meter”. Select it, and then “forget” it.

    2. If you are using an Android phone, make sure location services is on.

    3. What iOS version is running on the iPhone 5C? And Android version for Nexus 5x?

from @Ben on the Kickstarter page:

Just got my meter in today! But, I’m having trouble connecting the meter to my Android Nexus 5x and an old iPhone 5C. Any suggestions. I’ve tried restarting both phones. Turning on and off bluetooth. But it just isn’t being recognized my either device. Any help would be great. Thank you.

The latest version of the Android app on the Google App Store (v0.8) is much better for connections.

I don’t have a date yet for this. We know this is very important to fix.

Definitely an app thing. It will be an update through the App Store (Apple).

    Hi Nick,

Are you using the iPhone App? That seems to be the culprit. I can confirm that shutter angle=180 is missing. Also, the values do not seem to change as they should. We will get this fixed right away.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
