As the OP on this thread, I’ve mostly set my Illuminati aside for the past couple of months, unable to connect on the few occasions I tried.
Using Samsung Galaxy 7 plus, Android 7.0
Today, I deleted the app from the device (again) and reset the Illuminati (10 second press). Re-installed the app from Google play. Connected to the meter via the app.
So far today, connecting and re-connecting has been successful and mostly seamless. GPS (location service) needs to be on sometimes, but not always. Turning off GPS after connection to meter does not seem (so far) to disrupt the connection. (Turning off GPS is desirable to avoid undue battery useage).
Hopefully connections continue smoothly, and improvements to the app continue. 🙂
